500 GPD Reverse Osmosis System w Water Pump & 200 G Storage Tank

The items for sale are:

* Ampac 500 Gallon Per Day Reverse Osmosis Water Filtering Unit for Brackish (Well) Water with Motor
* Grundfos 1 HP Water Delivery Pump
* 200 Gallon Water Storage Tank

This system would be ideal for a family of four to six for normal household usage, at the cabin, small greenhouses or in any case like a business where no more than 450 Gallons Per Day are used.

For those of us who have had to deal with hard water, imagine showering with clean water !! No more sticky hair. Imagine ALL of your taps (and toilet) putting out treated water. No more replacing faucets, no more hard water deposits EVERYWHERE. As someone who has lived with hard water for a couple of years, there is a world of difference between hard water and treated water. Between buying cleaning products, new hardware (faucets, shower heads, pipe?) and the time / effort / frustration to deal with limescale; this system will pay for itself within 5 years.

I would be happy to email pictures of the actual units for sale or equipment specifications as this ad is restricted to 4000 characters.

We live about 10 minutes outside of Outlook, roughly an hour from Saskatoon. Please email or phone 306-856-2201 with any questions you may have, to see more pictures, or to make arrangements to see the equipment.

These items were purchased on October 1, 2007 in lightly used condition and have been in storage in our basement ever since. They were bought from the original owner who purchased them new. I have not used these items at all because in the process of gathering all the components to treat my well water, I decided to go with a different system because our hardness and iron factors were way off the charts. The shipping documents are still taped to the water tank. All of the hardware is fully functional and ready to work. What is needed for water treatment depends on what is in the water needing the treatment.

The original owner used them for a little over 3 months. The ONLY reason he was not able to continue using them is because it did not produce the volume of water he needed for a family of 6 and his farm operation.

Thanks for looking :)
